The network and membership
Who can join the network?
Three categories of member exist: individual members (diaspora professionals, entrepreneurs and students), organization members (associations, national chapters and diaspora groups) and partner members (companies and institutions wishing to support the programs).

What is the difference between official membership and a community platform account?
They are two separate things. Official membership is an application reviewed by the executive secretariat. A community platform account is immediate and does not require waiting for that review. Once membership is approved, you also receive a personal link to create that account without re-entering your information.

What does membership actually provide?
Access to the network's directory of experts and entrepreneurs, support for investment or entrepreneurship projects, priority invitations to events and economic missions, participation in the consultative governance bodies, and access to training and documentary resources reserved for members.

Is there a chapter in my country of residence?
National chapters are provided for in the bylaws and are being set up. Their list is published on the Diaspora Network page as they are created — no country list is shown while the chapters do not actually exist. You can offer to act as a local coordinator through the contact form.

How do I donate, and are my card details protected?
Online donations go through a secure payment operated by Stripe: card details never pass through this website.

Where can I read your founding texts and governance rules?
The bylaws, internal regulations, code of ethics and conduct, governance code and the policy against corruption, fraud and conflicts of interest are published openly, with no account or sign-up required.

Do you publish figures on payment protection?
Yes. The volume secured by escrow, the number of cases, the number of disputes and their resolution rate are pulled directly from the database and published with their capture date and calculation method. When a figure is not representative enough to publish, it is replaced by an explicit note rather than by a zero.

Authoritative page: Home
