Diaspora Cameroun

About us

A KAGEDEV Cameroun programme for the Cameroonian diaspora

Diaspora Cameroun helps Cameroonians living abroad put their skills and projects to work for Cameroon. The programme is administered by KAGEDEV Cameroun, under the supervision of KAGEDEV e.V.

Our mission

The programme's mission is to bring together the skills, financial means and knowledge of Cameroonians living abroad, and put them to use for Cameroon's economic, social and territorial development.

We work with the diaspora, local governments and technical and financial partners, while remaining independent of the Cameroonian State. The programme is funded through grants and partnerships.

Our vision

A Cameroonian diaspora recognised as an actor in national development, organised as a network, equipped to act, and engaged alongside the regions that need support most.

Who runs the programme

Diaspora Cameroun is a programme of KAGEDEV Cameroun, which administers it. It has no legal personality of its own: it is neither an autonomous association nor an independent legal entity.

KAGEDEV Cameroun is the national representation in Cameroon of Kamerunische Gemeinschaft in Deutschland e.V. (KAGEDEV e.V.), an association under German law that supervises the programme. Legal information is set out in our legal notice · Governance
