Who runs the Diaspora Cameroun programme, who supervises it, and how decisions and funds are followed today.

A programme administered by KAGEDEV Cameroun

Diaspora Cameroun is a programme of KAGEDEV Cameroun, which administers it. KAGEDEV Cameroun carries it out, deals with beneficiaries and local institutions, and reports on the activities carried out in Cameroon.

Status of the programme

Diaspora Cameroun has no legal personality of its own: it is neither an autonomous association nor an independent legal entity. The programme is independent of the Cameroonian State and is funded through grants and partnerships.

Supervision by KAGEDEV e.V.

KAGEDEV Cameroun is the national representation of Kamerunische Gemeinschaft in Deutschland e.V. (KAGEDEV e.V.), an association under German law based in Germany, which supervises the programme. KAGEDEV e.V. also receives online donations; the sums allocated to the programme are passed on to KAGEDEV Cameroun under the applicable internal, accounting and regulatory procedures.

How decisions and funds are followed

Decisions concerning the programme are taken by KAGEDEV Cameroun, within this supervision. No external audit has been carried out to date and no certification is claimed. What anyone can check today is in the documents listed below and in the site's legal notice, which states the publisher, how donations flow and the administrative authorisation it cites.
